The Nanotechnologies Supply Chain Forum is an initiative to bring together interested parties to ensure regulation and other aspects of nanotechnologies develop in a way that supports innovation and maintains the UK’s competitiveness in nanotechnology development.
To help achieve this, we invite you to join us. The Forum is open to all industrial and non-industrial stakeholders with an interest in establishing the right regulatory framework for the successful and safe commercialisation of nanotechnologies in the UK.
Purpose
The Forum aims to:
* Strengthen the link between producers and suppliers of nanomaterials and the supply chain(s) by bringing together stakeholders to discuss regulatory and other issues that could hinder and / or prevent the use of nanotechnologies successfully;
* Represent the interests of the nanotechnologies supply chain(s).
‘The Government and Industry working together will be crucial in overcoming barriers to the development of nanotechnologies in the UK. I agree it would be a good idea for me to address a meeting of the Forum’.
Rt Hon. David Willetts MP, Science Minister
