Guidance on the compilation of safety data sheets

Abstract -

This book aims to give practical guidance to people in industry having responsibility for obtaining appropriate health, safety and environmental information for inclusion in their company's safety data sheets. It also suggests a suitable order in which such information should be gathered. A comprehensive glossary and list of references are also included. This second edition extensively updates the first (published in 1998) to take account of changes in the legislation, notably CHIP3 and the new SDS "A Code of Practice".
