The latest Chemistry and Biotechnology news, funding & events from KTN |
Dear Alex Abraitis
Our team is excited to extend its series focusing on accelerating Net Zero in Chemical Manufacturing to explore further opportunities in energy and resource efficiency. |
The webinar on 17 June will explore the topic in greater depth, and will provide examples of projects relevant to chemicals and industrial biotechnology.
For the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) session we are also collaborating with KTN’s Health Team to consider the energy challenges across chemicals and the medicines manufacturing communities. The Transforming Foundation industries (TFI) session will focus on the energy and resource efficiencies opportunities for the chemical and industrial biotechnology sectors.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to: · learn how to access the two key funding streams relevant for you (IETF and TFI) · hear from case studies of previously successful projects · network with the community.

Get involved in mapping the UK feedstock and associated IB/EB opportunities |
KTN is currently conducting a scoping exercise to understand the IB & EB opportunities required to meet chemical supply chains demands as part of the transition to a Net Zero economy by 2050.
If you are a feedstock provider (Biomass, CO2, MSW etc), technology or solution provider working with feedstocks, specialist academic group, innovation centre or chemical industry end-user, we would love for you to be part of the discussions, in order to get a greater understanding of the current activities and gaps in knowledge and capabilities in the UK.
Interested parties can get involved by emailing catherine.mort@ktn-uk.org. |
