Incident Investigation

Macnaughton McGregor is the country’s leading exponent of drama-based safety training.  This intensive 1-day programme is suitable for is suitable for anyone likely to be involved in investigating incidents in the workplace.  Although preferred, no prior experience of incident investigation is required.

Throughout the programme participants are introduced to and will be able to practice the following tools and techniques:

-  understand the principles of evidence classification
-  be able to formulate a comprehensive timeline
-  differentiate between events and conditions
-  be able to identify and analyse ‘critical factors’
-  be able to identify incident root causes
-  understand human factor root causes
-  be able to make objective ‘just culture’ decisions
-  be able to identify effective recommendations
