Risk based health and safety guidelines to help you prepare to re-open for business. Join our webinar on 28th May, 1.30pm.

With the government’s roadmap now published on the way out of lockdown, focused on the primary aim of getting employees back to work on manufacturing sites, many of you will be determining the measures to be able to do this safely and to prevent the transmission of the virus.

This webinar will help you understand some of the key issues and ask questions of our two experts.

Ian Travers, ex HSE, has provided guidance by combining information issued by the OECD, EU, HSE and WHO on the prescient occupational health and safety issues. Andy Fowler, also ex HSE and technical director of HFL (SLR) Consulting gives his thoughts on the issues facing COMAH sites, in particular.

What will this webinar tell me?

Given that the risk of transmission of COVID-19 can not be eliminated, any form of personal contact, beyond absolute segregation of the working environment, will involve some risk of infection and transmisson between employees. Our webinar seeks to provide guidance on measures you can take to protect your workplace.

This webinar will address the potentially competing requirements of segregation/distancing for the purposes of COVID-19 and the need for people to work together to perform safety critical tasks under COMAH.
