We are excited to announce that the Chemicals Northwest 2024 Awards will once again take place at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate on the 21st March 2024. We are delighted to be back once again hosting the awards at the iconic Hilton hotel in central Manchester.
Chemicals Northwest members and non- members play a critical role towards delivering success in our industry and in many downstream sectors. The Awards honour excellence across a wide spectrum of business activity, from Innovation to Sustainability and from Young Talent to Supplier to the Chemical Industry.
We are delighted to showcase the outstanding successes from our very own chemical sector, a resilient and dynamic industry which is at the heart of the UK. The annual, much anticipated Chemicals Northwest Awards remains a highlight of the chemical industry calendar and we are delighted to open the categories for entry.
Dress code
– Dress code is black tie for men and equivalent attire for ladies.
Host - Jimmy McGhie
Jimmy McGhie is an acclaimed stand-up comedian. A hit at Edinburgh and on the live circuit, he has been a finalist in a host of new comedy competitions including the BBC New Talent and the Perth Comedy Festival.
Delivered with a down-to-earth, likeable charm and just the right amount of enthusiasm, Jimmy has the knack of making any audience feel like friends. He combines a bright disposition with a disdain for much of the modern world. He considers being a bit (but not really) posh, the myths of moving in with your girlfriend, how technology turns us into particularly needy children, and the horrors of fashionable media types.
Jimmy has performed on Live at the Electric and Russell Howard’s Good News. He’s been the warm-up act for shows from Loose Women to BBC Three’s Two Pints... and has supported Chris Addison and Simon Bird on tour.
