Our first speaker will be Martin Pearson, CEO at Catalyst Science Discovery Centre. Martin will be giving an update on the latest developments at Catalyst and an update on the re-opening of the centre.

Phil Redshaw from Yordas Group will be discussing the NextGenChem Hub which will support 300 local businesses with the development of next generation technology solutions, improved products and novel materials. 

Daniel O'Toole from Grant Thornton will be discussing t
ax incentives (R&D / Patent Box) for undertaking innovation which can create significant cash benefits in the sector, together with topical updates on how it interacts and can be impacted by the different Covid-19 government support measures (eg, CIBLS, CJRS). 

Andrew Mooney from Actikem will present on the Made Smarter Leadership Programme and how it has benefited Actikem. Registration for the next Leadership programme starts in October, find out how you could benefit.  

Mark Whiteman from TW Languages will be discussing the importance of quality translation in the industry and the potential pitfalls when using Machine Translation, such as Google Translate.
