Lisa Baldwin, Business Manager at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine will be presenting about a new business support programme ‘Formulated Materials for Infectious Disease Prevention’ which aims to overcome roadblocks to product development. She will talk about the specialist expertise and equipment on offer and how local companies are already benefitting from access. If your company is a Merseyside SME with potential applications in infectious disease then the business support programme may help boost your innovations.

Keel Heubner from Yordas Group will be discussing the NextGenChem Hub which will support 300 local businesses with the development of next generation technology solutions, improved products and novel materials. NextGenChem is part-funded by the European Regional Developmental Fund, offering £4.9M worth of business-support to eligible companies and Lucas will present case studies.

Matthew Schofield from Atlas Copco Rental will be giving a company introduction followed by some examples/case studies where Atlas products have helped industry with Air/Nitrogen and Steam solutions.

Cath Brierley from Warrington and Vale Royal College will be talking about the college provision, the work they do with employers and the incentives that are available to them . Highlighting the new AMET centre ( Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Trainings ) that they have newly commissioned, and their science footprint.
