This event is being held at the University of Chester, Thornton Science Park and will include site tours for those who are interested. Speakers include:

Paul Vernon, CEO of Thornton Science Park at the University of Chester will be giving a welcome and overview. 

Professor Joe Howe, Executive Director and Professor of the Thornton Energy Institute at the University of Chester

Paul McIntosh from Glacier Energy Services, providers of engineering services such as: heat exchanger design, manufacture, repair and refurbishment. Also welding and NDT services and the provision of turnkey solutions in respect of surface and subsea production equipment.

Lorelly Wilson, Professor at the University of Chester will be demonstrating the outreach work that the University of Chester carries out.

Cynara Livera from The Chemical Industry Consultants Association (CICA) will be promoting CICA. CICA is an independent association with 30 members, membership is open to all consultants serving the chemical and related industries who employ four or fewer employees. Specialisms are very varied and include the development of marketing, commercial, operational and R&D strategies, project management, outsourcing, training, developing new or improved formulations, testing, patent & literature searching, market research and economic analyses.

Michael Ventre from Laker-Vent Engineering Ltd, who supply fabrication and installation of process and utility piping systems. In addition; project management, detailing, procurement, on and off-site fabrication and installation of pipework.
