He will share an update on Brexit and advice on how you might prepare your business ahead of Brexit. Ian will cover wider issues such as Trade Remedies, Continuity of EU FTAs and the proposed Zero Import Tariff policy. The latter issue of unilaterally removing almost all import tariffs has met with some concern from UK manufacturing companies but chemical companies that routinely import raw materials and feedstocks, often from countries including China, India or the US, the prospect of being able to do so without paying tariffs offers a real competitive advantage.A working lunch will be provided at the meeting.
