Join our Chemicals Northwest Webinar Briefing at 2.00pm on 27 January 2022

HyNet North West is the UK’s leading industrial decarbonisation project. Hynet will unlock a low carbon future through reducing carbon dioxide emissions, it will provide low carbon power for industry and transport and heat for NW homes and businesses.

Targets have been agreed with Government and funding released.  Actual and measurable benefit will be generated sooner than you might think.  From 2025, HyNet will produce, store and distribute low carbon hydrogen as well as capture and lock up carbon dioxide emissions from industry, and by the end of the decade, HyNet will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 10 million tonnes every year – the equivalent of taking 4 million cars off the road. This will create and maintain thousands of local jobs, enabling long-term sustainability for businesses and financial security for communities.

What’s on offer and how can chemical companies benefit?

The project reaches across the North West and North Wales.  With its history of bold innovation and rich industrial heritage, the region is perfectly placed to lead the low carbon energy transition.

  • Chemical companies and those in their supply chains are integral to the plans, join us to learn more about the opportunities and why all of us should ultimately benefit.
  • This is an opportunity to hear the very latest developments from those leading the initiative and on what is happening right now to help meet Net Zero aspirations.
  • Chemicals Northwest will host the seminar on Microsoft Teams for member and associated companies.
  • Please note: copies of slides will only be made available to participating companies.

Please register your interest by booking on to the event, using the panel on the left hand side.
