* David Taylor and Eddy Winters from IKM will be presenting a brief overview of our Engineering, Environmental & Surveying services, focusing on our expertise and 25 years of experience within industrial and high-hazard environments. We’ll discuss the North-West market and our focus on providing Civil & Structural Asset Integrity engineering solutions to the local business community.

* Matthew Cloran from Klüber Lubrication will be presenting on 'Lubrication in the Chemical industry’.

* Pumptec Engineering Services, Jason Butler will be speaking about 'Linking asset health and criticality to focus maintenance budgets on prevent production failures’.

Heather Carroll from Cogent Skills will be discussing 
Cogent is currently leading the development of a National Skills Greenprint for Science and Technology. Green Skills is set to bring a carefully curated line-up from the world of Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Fuel Cells, Transitioning industries, engineering and more. Combining expert input with first-hand testimony for an in-depth discussion and understanding of the skills issues that matter. The findings of which will lead to the development of an industry-wide ‘Greenprint’ for skills. Please join us over the 11th, 12th, and 13th of October as we host our first virtual round table event as we continue to understand the green skills gap. Attendance at this event is reserved exclusively for anyone working in the science and technology sector with a skills-related remit. This will be followed by a presentation from Vicki O'Kelly from the University of Liverpool who be giving an overview of The University of Liverpool's plan to create an Autonomous Chemistry Innovation Centre (AUTOCIC), a new UK leading research and innovation centre designed to create the scientific and technology platforms, and the skilled staff, needed to implement a digital transformation in how chemical lab work is carried out in the future.  The project aims to bring together some of the University’s leading chemistry academics, together with industry partners of all scales and across the supply chain, to develop application platforms, which all require high-precision operations within high-risk chemical environments.

Ian Cranshaw from Chemicals Northwest will be giving an update on news and activities within the sector
