Managing REACH for suppliers of articles: How compliant are you?

Book

Event details

As more SVHCs come under the regulatory spotlight, and the number of "chemicals of concern" customer enquiries your company receives grows, you will be ever more reliant on a robust supply chain management system to ensure REACH compliance as part of product stewardship.

REACHReady is delighted to bring you this workshop alongside Approved Service Provider CMCA UK, which will help you:
• Distinguish between regulatory requirements and customer requests
• Outline key measures that you should be taking in your business
• Outline the essentials of a compliance strategy that will help you identify if you are doing all you can to comply
• Recognise where business risks are likely to occur and how to minimise them
• Develop and maintain your strategy for REACH compliance as part of good product stewardship

CMCA UK offers a range of services to equipment manufacturers including REACH Management and Compliance, Materials Testing, Obsolescence Management and Procurement. An integral element of these services is their expertise in the analyses of Bills of Material (BoMs) and Drawings.  This analysis would identify the presence of SVHC and those substances that are on the authorisation list and therefore highlight your obligation under REACH Article 33 to communicate this information down the supply chain.

We assume that attendees have an understanding of the definition of an article and an appreciation of the REACH duties of suppliers.

Discounted rates apply for REACHReady Gold subscribers and CIA members; book before 28 January 2019 for the early booking rate: £280 (+ vat) REACHReady/CIA members; £350 (+ vat) non members; thereafter £308/£385 (+ vat) respectively.
