CLP - Introduction to classification and labelling for mixtures

Event details

Classification is the key process that ensures labels and safety data sheets (SDS) provide accurate information on hazards, helping recipients use your chemical products safely. Whether you formulate mixtures yourself, or are importing formulations from outside of the EU, you need to understand the principles and requirements of the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation in order to make sure your labels and SDS are correct and compliant with the regulations.

Aimed at EU companies that either import mixtures from non-EU suppliers, or formulate their own products.

The programme also includes an introduction to the new CLP Annex VIII poison centre requirements, and touches on the implications on CLP arising from Brexit.

Discounted rates apply for REACHReady Gold subscribers and CIA members; book before 28 February 2019 for the early booking rate: £280 (+ vat) REACHReady/CIA members; £350 (+ vat) non members; thereafter £308/£385 (+ vat) respectively.
