Our Host for the Evening
Roger Johnson
Roger is a lead news presenter on North West Tonight, co-hosting lunchtime and evening bulletins.
After working as reporter for BBC Radio Solent, BBC Radio Manchester, and South Today (where he won the Regional Sports Presenter of the Year title from the Royal Television Society) he joined North West Tonight to replace long-term anchor Gordon Burns.
Roger has also presented BBC Breakfast and coverage on the BBC News Channel, and reported for Match of the Day and Final Score. He has led regional coverage in the North West and the south of Children in Need.
Dress Code
Dress code is black tie for men and equivalent attire for ladies.
Venue
The awards will culminate with a first-class gala dinner celebration and announcement of winners at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on the 19th March 2026.
The 2026 Awards will incorporate a fantastic pre-dinner drinks reception hosted in the Rum Warehouse bar which will be sponsored by AXIOM.
