Event details

This event is closed.

Classification is the key process that ensures labels and safety data sheets (SDS) provide accurate information on hazards, helping recipients use your chemical products safely.  Whether you formulate mixtures yourself, or are importing formulations from outside of the EU, you need to understand the principles and requirements of the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation in order to make sure your labels and SDS are correct and compliant with the regulations.

Aimed at EU companies that either import mixtures from non-EU suppliers, or formulate their own products, and applicable for anyone responsible for classification and labelling, and those accountable for wider product stewardship issues.  Whilst of particular value to anyone new to classification, this will also be of benefit to those with experience of classifying mixtures under the Dangerous Preparations Directive.

This event will also touch on the subject of Poison Centres.

Discounted rates apply for REACHReady Gold subscribers and CIA members; book before 26 March to benefit from the early booking rate: £280 (+ vat) REACHReady/CIA members; £350 (+ vat) non members.
