The EU Biocidal Products Regulation entered into force on 1 September 2013 and has a wide-reaching impact on those within the chemical industry, from manufacturers and importers of active substances through to biocidal product formulators. It also introduces new measures which will significantly impact on importers of any products (substances, mixtures or articles) which may be treated prior to import.
