Business of Science 2027 returns to Nottingham on Thursday 13th May 2027 for a full-day conference bringing together leaders, innovators and organisations from across the science and innovation ecosystem.

With the venue confirmed and the agenda and speaker invitations already underway, the conference will build on the incredible success of the previous 10 years and feature inspiring speakers, thought-provoking discussions, valuable networking and the announcement of the winners of our ever-popular Innovation Awards.

Alongside the main conference on Thursday 13th May, the Business of Science features a series of events designed to connect, inspire and celebrate the people shaping the future of science and innovation.

Young Leaders’ Forum 2027

It is preceded by our Young Leaders’ Forum on the afternoon of Wednesday 12th May, an opportunity for those early in their careers to connect, network and team-build, alongside inspirational addresses from keynote speakers from across industry. Tickets are available soon.

Innovation Awards 2027

The Innovation Awards celebrate the creativity, curiosity and ingenuity of young people and their ideas for solving real-world challenges through science, technology and innovation. With categories for Primary, 11-16 and 16+, the awards recognise and showcase the next generation of innovators, giving young people the opportunity to have their ideas celebrated on the Business of Science stage.

Leadership Awards 2027

The evening of 12th May will see us celebrate the winners of the 2027 Leadership Awards at our exclusive Pre-Conference Dinner, bringing together sponsors, partners and VIPs to recognise individuals who are already established in their careers and have made significant achievements in science, innovation and its commercialisation. The opening date for nominations for the 2027 Leadership Awards will be announced soon. This is an invitation only event.
