10am - 11am
Sustainability is ‘the catch all term’ that has long been an agenda item of FTSE 100 companies. With environmental pressures growing and the UK hosting the much-anticipated UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November this year, the topic of ‘Sustainability, CSR and ESG’ is rightly finding its way on to the Board agenda of SMEs.
Many Executives and Senior Leadership Teams are now wondering how they can translate complex sustainable principles into simple, everyday practice.
There are clear environmental drivers behind the increase in sustainability demands and the launch of Prince Charles’s Terra Carta this week underpins this need - but we should remember there is also a clear business case for operating more sustainably too.
Nick Howard, Director & Principal Engineer from 6 Engineering will be presenting at this event covering the following items.
• What is functional safety?
• Typical problems.
• How to start getting a grip.
• Longer term actions.
Free of charge for all to attend.
