Materials Innovation Partnership projects must:

be co-created and co-delivered by business and academic partners

focus on one or more of the six high-growth opportunity themes from the National Materials Innovation Strategy aim to create long-term prosperity for the UK

Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) will fund 80% of the full economic cost (FEC).

The business cash contribution must at least match the amount funded by EPSRC. Further details here.
