The UK chemicals regulatory framework is set for one of its most significant changes since the introduction of GB CLP and UK REACH.

The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has confirmed its intention to align Great Britain CLP requirements with the EU CLP Regulation, including new hazard classes for endocrine disruptors, PBT/vPvB and PMT/vPvM substances, alongside updated labelling requirements.

Public consultation is due to open imminently with legislation targeted for Autumn 2027.
