CIA/HSE Webinar on Human Factors | COMAH-Critical Communications
This webinar, hosted by the CIA, will be presented by Elaine Skilling - HM Principal Specialist Inspector (Human Factors Engineering) of the CEMHD division of the HSE. It follows the well-attended webinar held in July 2025 on HF for COMAH sites. This time Elaine will discuss the topic of ‘COMAH Critical Communications’ from the HSE’s Human Factors COMAH Delivery Guide.
Maintenance Management – Delivering Reliability in the Process Industries
The course will be delivered in the context of maintenance in the Process Industries, drawing on case studies and industry specific experience. An introduction to maintenance approaches and theories which will equip the delegate to take a fresh look at the performance of the maintenance engineering department.

The CIA Annual HF Conference covers best practice in key aspects of work with HF, managing equipment, avoiding incidents, and treating any HF burns that do occur. Key themes this year will cover all aspects of work with both anhydrous and aqueous/dilute HF acid.
