The European Union has officially opened the public commenting period for its upcoming omnibus legislation focused on food and feed safety. The wide-ranging proposal addresses updated regulatory requirements for biocidal products, plant protection products, feed additives, and food hygiene, among other key areas. Stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft and submit feedback as the EU moves toward streamlining and simplifying its food and feed safety regulations.
