The CIA Transport & Logistics Network supports members in delivering the safe, compliant and responsible movement of chemicals, in line with the CIA’s Responsible Care® Guiding Principles. Transport and distribution are critical stages in the chemical lifecycle, particularly where dangerous goods are involved, and effective management is essential to protecting people, the environment and the supply chain.

The Network provides a dedicated forum for members to keep up to date with transport legislation, with a strong focus on dangerous goods requirements. It is especially relevant for Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSAs) and those responsible for managing transport and logistics activities within their organisations.

By enabling the sharing of ideas, experience and practical solutions to common challenges, the Network supports safe chemicals management across the supply chain and promotes continuous improvement. Participation helps members demonstrate proactive leadership, strengthen compliance and uphold high standards of transport safety in support of Responsible Care.
