CIA responds to the Chancellor’s growth speech

Linked to the Heathrow expansion, Rachel Reeves’ announcement of a £63m government investment in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production is a significant step forward. This aligns closely with our ambitions outlined in our latest report Project 2035, which demonstrates the key role the UK chemical industry plays not only in enhancing SAF supply to the aviation sector but also in leading the charge towards a more resilient and sustainable future for  transport like cars, planes and ships.
