Working with key stakeholders we will strive to:

Proactively champion the promotion of policies and training programmes targeted at delivering diversity at all levels of our workforce;
Attract and retain the talent and skills that are crucial to the success of our industry;
Support members as they prepare their workforce – from senior management to more junior roles – to keep abreast of developments aimed at increasing industry sustainability;
Engage with early careerists through CIA’s ChemTalent and with local communities; and
Using this vision as a platform for engagement, explore with stakeholders and the supply chain opportunities to collaborate, encouraging greater transparency and communication.

UK Explores Digital Product Records

The UK must ensure Digital Product Records support greater circularity without creating unnecessary costs and complexity for chemical and pharmaceutical businesses. A separate UK system could duplicate EU requirements and create additional barriers for companies trading across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the EU. Any future framework should be interoperable with existing systems, proportionate to the information required and introduced gradually, with appropriate protection for commercially sensitive information
