Michael is an accomplished specialty chemicals executive with over 25 years of international experience across global markets. Senior leadership roles at Solvay Group, Dow Chemical Company and Rohm and Haas led to more than eight years with PPG Industries, where he served as managing director in Russia and later as managing director, EMEA, integrating acquisitions and driving strategic growth in higher‑margin markets. Michael was appointed senior vice president and president of Ingevity’s Advanced Polymer Technologies business in 2025, and holds a Master of Arts in modern languages from the University of Oxford and an MBA from London Business School.
